Contract type: Contractor/Employed (guide of 10-14 days per month with some on-call responsibilities)

Med ResQ is looking to engage a motivated, enthusiastic and caring Medical Case Manager (MCM) to join our team and to support our clients and patients, wherever they are in the world. This challenging role is suited to individuals with a broad clinical background, a passion for travel and a strong interest in medical assistance.

The successful candidate will be offered a hybrid working solution, with most of their days working remotely, however, with an expectation of periodic work and training at the company offices in Northamptonshire.

MCM’s typically choose to combine their case work with both medical flight work and clinical hospital shifts, and the successful candidate will be offered preferential access to repatriation flight work.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential

· 5 years’ post registration clinical practice

· 2 years’ experience in a critical care area or an emergency department

· Senior band 5 nurse or equivalent locum practice at this level

· Current NMC PIN

· Exceptional verbal and written communication (phone and email)

· Good IT skills (Excel, Word, Data Management Systems)

· ILS certification

· Centrally located (London/South East or Midlands)

Desirable

· Extensive international travel experience

· Experience and/or training in aviation medicine

· Experience in repatriation flight planning and logistics

· Experience air ambulance flight planning and transfers

· Language skills
